this is a more direct shot of my control desk. Vintech 273 (neve 1073 clone) UA LA-610, and other assorted goodies. you can see that the screen is very wide and the picture-in-picture was in direct eye shot as was my 2nd screen which had the mix window. i had a cd printer right there also because i used printable cds so that i could print out a nice looking disc at the end. just an added touch. i also had another computer screen to my right for internet and sometimes i'd sneak a quiuck game of computer chess in while the artists were writing and not recording. there's also a video monitor there which i could view the hallway to the studio, main entrance, and the entrance to the elevator 4 floors down so that i could see who was coming and buzz them up (or not..lol) it was a very efficient workspace.
