Norfolk & Westerne

An old band buddy of mine ran across this cleaning out his practice/storage facility. Norfolk & Westerne was the original name for the band that became "Nickels". Steve Madison & Paul Tassler of Continental Ent. asked us to change it because everyone thought we were a country western band.

We were not! The name was taken from a famous railroad. 

This was an early publicity shot done for Continental...circa 1973. That's me 2nd from the left.

Honestly, I had no idea any remnants from this stage of the band survived. Leave it to Frank...he never throws anything away...thank God! :thumbsup2:
