Hello all! Well, to start off this thread I'd like to say --- good news! I've been accepted to UARTS in philadelphia pennsylvania, and will be attending in january. Now, until then, I would like to get two projects done. The first would be releasing my own album -- this is harder than the other project , because my resources are limited atm. But I'd like just a little five track EP sorta thing to put out there, show what I'm about. Secondly, I'd like to put together a mixtape. Here's where my questions come in -- since my mixtape, obviously isn't going to be for sale...can I get in trouble for using instrumentals by artists like TOPP DOGG and Block B? I don't think I can if I use proper credit, plus, you know, mix tapes are released be rappers wanting to get noticed all the time!

I've only been singing for a little bit, I remember a year ago I couldn't even hit the notes on my favorite song "Wedding Dress" (which I'll be covering this weekend), and I definitely think I have improved, but I'd like some critique on my vocals. I asked a couple people on a game I play, and they told me that I should sing louder because at points they couldn't hear me. Just keep in mind when listening to this that I have to use a Cell Phone to record my voice aacpella, so there is a point at the end where the audio skips, and I couldn't fix it >~< Anyways, please offer any helpful tips, this is one of my favorite songs "Daughter Of Evil". I try my hand at writing english translation lyrics to foreign songs, and compose my own orchestral arrangements of songs (usually of korean pop songs), and my own original songs. Do you have a writing partner? Sadly no. 4. Do you record your music? Yes. Do you use a home studio? If so what gear do you use? Well I use Audacity for when I do song covers, so I can sync up the acapella track and the instrumental. As for a mic, I can only use my Cell Phone mic, but it's better than my laptop's...so yeah Do you use a recording studio? No. Do you have music available on the web? if so where? I absolutely adore drawing my own characters and comics involving them, and I love learning the choreography to various Korean pop songs, they're fun and a great workout! I also like League Of Legends and Killing Floor, those games help me relieve stress. 10. What would you like to get out of Songstuff? I would like to improve and expand upon my musical technique and knowledge , and make some great new buddies! I think that covers the main musical things!
