  1. Yes I also Believe Cubase is a great program and that it has great capabilitys. I didn't take the time to learn enough about it. Ableton Live has a non-linear workflow that appeals to me.
  2. I've used Cubase because it was most common in Sweden when I started home recording. Since then there is a lot more DAWs to chose from. Two years ago I tested Ableton live and I have not used Cubase since then. Ableton have the "session view" that I think is a intuitive interface for song writing. I can quick and easily test ideas and arrangements. And it have all the functionallity for my home recordings.
