Usually write songs that are not rap. However, came up with this and thought it would be more suited as being a rap. Do you think so? The poor stay poor The rich stay rich And you believe parties which Tell you a lie to get in power They leave us with a sour Taste in our mouths because we know what's right It seems the people aren't prepared to fight Not with violence but with human love It's the only feeling that can push us above The boundaries we are confined to Day by day The people are starving But we'll just look away It's not our problem people say But it's happening Right now, today There are people with too much money Their lives always sunny Private jets, villas and pools Lucky enough to be educated in top schools Money passed down from generations They don't seem to care about poor nations Bettering themselves is the only way Highlighting attitudes we have today Keep everything to yourself Ignore others who need help Don't get me wrong There's good as well People who want to say farewell To the system which makes life hell Yes some rich do donate And do make the world a better place It ain't all bad The injustice just makes me mad For you and me It doesn't take a genius to see We have the power Don't you get it It's something that they don't wanna admit All it takes is for us to commit We need to sort out our priorities first Then the evil in the world can be reversed To disregard race Nobody should feel outta place Biggest problem is the wealthy few Who control others And tell them what to do
