  1. I was Dreaming

This was made up on the spot. Lyrics and all. I would like some feedback and suggestions. Thanks!
  2. Loud & Clear

Hobosage, there are much better ways to criticize. Constructive criticism goes a long way. Maybe make suggestions, instead of just knocking it.
  3. Loud & Clear

I honestly dig it. I think it's a cool tune. I do not like the choice of drums IMO. I think you could put some more heavy hitting, or snappy drums. These just sound a bit off to my ears. Maybe some live distortion guitar to give it more of an edge. Yeah!
  4. 1980

No, not strictly 80's. Always current!!!! I love mixing sounds and influences. I've never made an 80's type song, so I was eager to! I'm pretty happy with the outcome so far. Now the challenging part. Lyrics and Melody, etc.
  5. 1980

Here it is. No words yet. I think most of the music is done. I just got done working on it, so I need to come back with fresh ears and double check my work.
  6. I'll be with you - Mix ok?

Yes, I think the mix is great. Cool song! I think it could use some more musical ideas, or changes since it's a long song. Maybe a faster harder section just to change it up a bit. Other than that, I think it's great. Nice work!
  7. Cell Phone Junkies!

I think it's really cool. I like all the different sections. I like the ska influences, I think the mix could be brighter sounding. It sounds a bit muffled to me. I love the parts where it speeds up! It's got some really cool changes.! Nice!!!!!
  8. Electronic tune with '80s bits

I think it's catchy, but the drums are missing something for me. Not punchy enough. Also the synths are not punchy either. To me they sound a bit thin. Cool lil tune though
  9. Notorious - What do you think?

I love your stuff because it's so catchy. You have a super pop vibe and I mean that in a good way. My music is so opposite, and I used to dislike music like this, and I rarely listen to it. However, I think you are doing some great stuff here. Some of the phrasing could use some work. It's radio friendly and in the right hands and with the right producers, this song could sell major copies, I am sure. It's got that style, Bruno Mars ish. Keep it up, and shop your songs around.
  10. Alone In This

Have you heard of Conor Oberst from Bright eyes? His first songs were similar, basic, and full of teenage emotion. However, he became one of the most poetic song writers of all time. He is amazing and maybe you would find something beneficial in his music. Also, Eliott Smith is someone you should check out. I think it sounds great for a youngin, keep learning, keep playing and READ READ READ and experience. That is my advice!
  11. I Beg Your Pardon

The sound was a low bass drum I used. And no, I am not interested in using any autotune plugin. That's cheating, ha
  12. I Beg Your Pardon

That low rumble is intentional. Listen with headphones and you can hear what's going on. Unfortunately, singing is not my strong suit. I try and sometimes pull off nice things. But it's been a lifelong struggle. So, I'm a rough singer as it stands. Thanks for the comments!
  13. I Beg Your Pardon

Yes, and Yes I did that on purpose on this song. I wanted it a little behind the beat on it and a little more free form Thank you for the compliments!
  14. I Beg Your Pardon

In the drop of the ocean I felt you come and go In the midnight garden I heard their voices glow Don't you miss me sister don't you miss the gleaming snow I beg your pardon we just got started and she walked away With the roll of a dice I witness you come alive courting blinking eyes I caught you puzzle life brand new babies cry I was reborn a new I shouldn't show I couldn't know it And I held his face In the second act I fought my forces black and a sharpened axe I chopped the egos laugh was a torn up telegraph that landed on my lap It was emotion that sold my notion and I meditate
