1. Do you sing, play an instrument or instruments? Yep. What instruments? Guitar, piano, some dobro, some mandolin, drums. Acoustic guitar is my most beloved. When did you start playing? Around age 10. Did you teach yourself? Yes. 2. Are you in a band or bands? Not currently. 3. Do you write songs? Not often enough. Do you write lyrics, music or both? Both Do you have a writing partner? No. 4. Do you record your music? Yes. Do you use a home studio? If so what gear do you use? Yes. I have an older Roland VS_1680 16 track machine, a couple of AKG perception LD condensor mics and a couple SM 57's Do you use a recording studio? Can't afford it. I am engineering and co-producing a small ep release from a semi-celebrity who is not known for his music. Management? Label owner? Publishing? Promotion? Other? None 6. Are you a tech head? Not really, I learn just enough to get me by. 7. What country do you live in? U.S.A. 8. What are your ambitions? I'd like to get into film score much like the "Grizzly Man" soundtrack work. I love recording and don't feel comfortable performing, though I still feel a desire to play live. 9. Do you draw/paint/write stories/computer art/dance or other creative pursuit? I am a published cartoonist. What are your pastimes? Recording, writing, cartooning, fixing things around the house, trying to make travel plans... 10. What would you like to get out of Songstuff? POSITIVE ideas without all the downright mean "drive-by" negativity. I'd like to be part of a musical community of like-minded musicians trying to find our places in the scheme of things. I think that covers the main musical things! I think it certainly does.
