Hey! My name is Rebekah, and I’m a 17 year old from Ireland! I’m graduating from secondary school this year, and becoming an adult (officially) in April! (Woohoo!) So I thought to myself, what better time to share my writing with the world? I’m allowed to vote soon, why not be brave with my other choices too? I’ve been writing lyrics since I was around 11 years old. I became very lonely as I started to get that little bit older, and songwriting became a way for me to deal with my hardships. It comes from a place of having no one to talk to about your thoughts, except for your journals.... and gosh do I have a lot of them! I guess what I should mention is that when I began writing songs, I thought it was something everybody did. And so I never felt compelled to shout about it and spread the word that I write. As I realized that my songwriting was something that made me special, or different- it made me scared. How would people react? Now as as I approach adulthood, I’m not afraid of that question anymore. I hope you guys will reach out to me, and perhaps guide me with my writing, which I’ve been doing alone all these years haha. I’d really appreciate some different/fresh insight! Kindest regards, Rebekah <<33

Hello Songstuff Community, I am Palm Baker, and I am a Toronto based music producer, studio owner, and recording artist. My journey as a musician started with a cheap guitar at a young age. I have since learnt guitar, along with piano and a handful of classical brass instruments. Aside from being a multi-instrumentalist, I am also a studio engineer. Building my first studio four years back in the basement of a London, ON. apartment, I began working with friends and close networks to figure out the ropes. I have since worked with artists and producers across Canada, the United States, and even one team of EDM producers and rappers from Sweden. As an artist I have performed across venues in Toronto, ON. Some of these venues include The Opera House, Revival Bar, & The Mod Club. To organize my live set I use the Roland DJ 808 where I can control my studio produced tracks along with my vocals mic-ed through a vocal processor that lets me control Volume, EQ, Pitch, and Reverb. Here at Songstuff I hope to develop networks and build my company, while sharing feedback and my music. Looking forward to what this community has to offer. All the best, Baker

Hi everyone! My name is Diane Richardson and I have been writing for nearly 19 years. Here's a little about me. I have received 2 "Song of the Year" awards from the Golden State Country Music Organization. I have also received an honorable mention from American Songwriter Magazine, and Goodnight Kiss Music. I'm looking for experienced songwriters/composers to work with. Check my Main Music page http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?bandID=8518 for news on current collaborative opportunities. I write mostly Pop, Pop/Rock, Country/Pop, and A/C lyrics, but am very versatile as you’ll hear when you listen to my Urban/Pop songs on my SoundClick page. Anyway, I'm looking forward to meeting you talented people and possibly working together. Please use the following email address: mysammie62@gmail.com - Serious replies only please. Also there are more lyrics that need music, so if you are into a different style, please let me know and I will see what I can come up with. The current lyric posted is Urban/Pop. Best of luck to everyone in all of your musical endeavors! Diane a.k.a. MusicIsMyLife

My name is Chris as i stated in the topic and i am 35yrs OLD from Texas. I'm a christian-country-bluesish-folkish singer/songwriter, i play guitar, and I draw and paint some. I come from a musical family. i started playing guitar when i was 15 then got married at 18 and for some reason guitar got put on the back burner for a long time( been married 16yrs now ) so i am not anywhere near as far along as i should be. I did finally get up the nerve to enter a songwriting contest and won! yeah me! It was small, about 30 entrants and $150 grand prize, but it felt good. I am kinda in a band, hard to explain. This is my first forum ever. I have recorded one song kind of professionally, the guy who produced it was a pro and he did it for free. any whooo i could go on and on and on and on, but i will spare u any more blah blah blah
