So my buddy and I recorded a jam the other night, completely improvised.. and I think we created a new genre on accident... If progressive reggae blues rock isn’t a thing already. But yeah check it out it’s pretty cool. https://soundcloud.com/user-219896833-508678333/sorrow-and-triumph-a-reggae-blues-jam Let me know what y’all think, if you’ve heard anything like it, etc. P.S. I'm new to the community so idk if posting my songs right off rip is cool or not but I plan on sticking around and being an active member of the forum

I just recently joined this forum I look forward to learning and sharing. Basically I've played guitar since I was 14. I am 42 yrs young now. When I was 14 I started a band like most kids who love music do. Long story short life got in the way and when I was around 23 yrs old. We split up.. For a few years after Me and my bass player jammed with a few people here and there. But it was never the same like playing with the kids who lived in your hood. Long story short here I am with 2 kids of my own. My own successful business and I find myself playing music again.. Amazing with the same bass player and drummer I jammed with when I was 14. I am very excited to be jamming again. I have been filming our jam sessions. We are all rusty.. What's cool is we dedicated every weekend to our music. So we shall see where this leads...

Hello there, I hope this is the right topic for this. I make drum loops with a drum program and sometimes with my E-kit. The reason behind is to let everybody to practice, jam, compose or record for free. I'd like to make a huge collection of any styles of drumming for everybody to have a good time with them instead of practicing with metronome all the time. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLs1_py20462eWjZWnI0io4knuit7vscuy Any feedbacks, shares, likes or comments are welcome. Feel free to mail me or send a message at facebook or wherever you'd like to. Thanks for reading, Oliver aka LichDesign

Jam Session in ShangHai -
This jam was built over a cut-up loop of Beck's "Corvette Bummer" and Sly & The Family Stone's "Thank You For Talking To Me Africa." Once I had recorded the guitars, I silenced the loop and added drums with my Alesis SR-16. Of the guitars, three are run through my Q-tron wah pedal (including the bass), but the distorted guitar is not. I added effects, mostly reverb, in Cool Edit Pro 2.1. Let me know how you think my guitar performances sound. I'm rather new to expressive playing. Enjoy! Thanks. E/S https://soundcloud.com/derek-ryan-hain/january-30-2014

Hello! Thought I'd share an app that I made with the songwriting forum part. It might help if you run out of inspiration, or need some effects or just wanna jam around. [media=] It pretty much just generates melodies according to rythm and note preferences. Download it from https://play.google....y.jamdroid.free
