Puchta (aka DJ BDP) Hello! I am Benjamin Puchta (* 1986). I am producing Drum & Bass Music (Sub-Genre: Techstep, Neurofunk) 1998 (Age 12) My first contact with Music was a small Tape Deck with Radio and Record-Function from my Mom. My first Tapes was just tracks from Radio, but these Tapes still exists and the Drums in those records was already be like Breakbeat-Drums with mainly bass. The half down Pause Button on my Tapedeck was playing the Tape faster. An malfunction that was presumably a destiny to employ Drum & Bass Music. 1999 I used Magix Music Maker and the included Soundpools to produce an Album. Unreleased, and sadly lost forever. 2001 I played GTA III to listen to MSX Radio. 2002 I switched completely to Drum & Bass Music, I bought my first Tape-Box "Kings of the Jungle 2002 - Drop the Bomb" , I played with Mixsets from Tapes, I extract Drums and Melodys and collect an own Soundpool. 2005 First visits of Events (SAS Tag Team Night, Kings of the Jungle Double Impact, Kings of the Jungle The Festival, Other local events...) sometimes private Partys. 2008 I bought two Technics 1210 MK2 and about 200 second hand Drum & Bass Vinyls. Thenceforth I bought new Vinyls. 2011 I create my own YouTube Chanel, Soundcloud, and other Online-Networks and Profiles... 2012 I produced my first own Track and upload it to the World Wide Web. I bought my first Digital 4-Deck DJ Controller. 2016 My first Mixset with only my own Tracks goes to the Internet. hey, i'm astronun. happy 2020 to every artist out there. i'm new to this, but wanted to speak to some who may need to hear it. this is for you. its crazy to believe that over 8 years ago i searched the internet for some way to create music on a computer, and after countless hours, sleepless nights, and numerous melodies i stumbled upon what very soon became my greatest hobby. i've always had trouble creating music because either it didn't compare to what all of the mainstream artists were putting out or because i was my own worst critique. i struggled to find that "sound" that got the big names to where they are today, and i hated that. i wanted to be noticed. didn't my music deserve recognition? this past year has been huge for me for many reasons. for starters, i began finally singing in my music, which soon became the primary instrument in all the music i now produce. i've always sang in performances, church, shower, etc., but to put it out for the entire internet to hear? that was a huge step. i also noticed how my numbers generally began growing on spotify, apple music, etc., but somehow i wasn't satisfied. here's the biggest thing i've learned; we will never be satisfied if we measure our work up to the worlds' standards. period. in a musical context, i will never be good enough because i'm not as good as "_____" or because i'm not seeing the same numbers as "_____" or my social media doesn't look as good as "_____". we climb up the ladder and we continue to look upwards, upset at how far we have to go without looking down and realizing the bit that we've climbed. i'm proud of the little numbers i've made in 2019. i'm proud of the music that i produce and write and get stuck in my head. i'm proud that my own music is my #1 most listened to artist on spotify. i'm proud of how i work hard to market my own music. and i'm proud to continue on what i love so much in 2020. i hope this speaks to some, if any, of you. celebrate the small victories. love your work because you made it. use others to sharpen your talent, not to create it for you. here's a toast to 2020 and all the victories that lie ahead for all artists out there. God bless. -astronun

Hey Everyone! Looks like a great site to network as well as to find a positive vibe which is hard to do when you are starting out! I am a songwriter/producer as well as a former artist. You can reach me here at the forum or on my website. http://www.countrysongdemos.com Some of the services we offer for free and of course some we charge for. What we don't do is gouge people especially the beginning songwriter. We always recommend clean guitar vocals before full production. You can get more for your money that way! Wishing everybody a successful 2019!

A ghost producer is a person who produces or co-produces tracks for other artists, DJs or record labels in return for a flat fee. Thereβs a mutual agreement between both the parties i.e the ghost producer and the artist that the track will be released under the name of the artist and the original producer will remain anonymous. This is a systematic business chain among the variants of the music industry which is flourishing immensely. People want to opt for ghost production as their career but there are certain questions which often rise to them. For example, how to become a ghost producer, how much can a ghost producer earn in a month, is it a good option when considered career-wise.

So I'm a singer/ lyricist, and I've been in the live music scene for a good few years. I'm looking to start collaborating online, and I'm looking for producers/ composers to collaborate with. Is it even possible to find anyone through a platform that doesn't consist of paying other musicians for their music? Am I being naive thinking I could work with people in a "you help me, I help you" kinda situation? If there is anywhere it is possible to do something like that, I'd really appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction.

Hi all Like the title says I'm an intermediate Techno/ Electro fusion (meaning not EDM) Producer. I'm here because I want to expand my social circles, learn critical and needed tips and help other artists gain notice. I have an almost-Universal taste in music* so I see value in any kind of production and easily enjoy it too. Besides that I'm rather easy going and friendly and willing to talk and learn what I should know. Hope to know you all soon Also I'm a bit confused about the 'no links' policy in the introductory post; to what extent are links that we need approved in terms of 'promotional' (i.e can I post my own soundcloud link?) *this is based on that 00's phrase, meaning I like all music EVEN country and rap

Hello Songstuff Community, I am Palm Baker, and I am a Toronto based music producer, studio owner, and recording artist. My journey as a musician started with a cheap guitar at a young age. I have since learnt guitar, along with piano and a handful of classical brass instruments. Aside from being a multi-instrumentalist, I am also a studio engineer. Building my first studio four years back in the basement of a London, ON. apartment, I began working with friends and close networks to figure out the ropes. I have since worked with artists and producers across Canada, the United States, and even one team of EDM producers and rappers from Sweden. As an artist I have performed across venues in Toronto, ON. Some of these venues include The Opera House, Revival Bar, & The Mod Club. To organize my live set I use the Roland DJ 808 where I can control my studio produced tracks along with my vocals mic-ed through a vocal processor that lets me control Volume, EQ, Pitch, and Reverb. Here at Songstuff I hope to develop networks and build my company, while sharing feedback and my music. Looking forward to what this community has to offer. All the best, Baker

Hey All, I'm Andy. Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland and now living in Belfast, PEI (Canada). I have been a musician and songwriter for many years now. Mostly involved with Contemporary Christian Music (CCM). I have written several songs that have been published and covered by some top artsists within the CCM industry (Chris Tomlin, Toby Mac, Robin Mark etc). I now run a small music production company called April Audio. The basic idea is that I take your rough song recordings and produce a full band version that you can either sing the vocals over yourself or let me provide a pro singer. I can work with any style really. Favourite bands include Led Zeppelin, Simon & Garfunkle, Muse, Kris Kristofferson, Larry Norman, Carpark North, Sigur Ros.... Looking forward to connecting with you guys and girls and hearing lots of great new songs. Andy
