Hey Everyone! My name is Zachary Alves and have my masters from BC (Boston College) in English/Creative Writing. Seemingly, I have a real original style of writing; i hope to someday be writing songs for the "greats". I will being by posting some of my creative essays that, i believe, have potential to be published. Can't wait to begin looking at your songs and getting to know some of you! Thanks for having me a part of this community. Zach

Hello everybody I am a young recording artist, songwriter, composer. (published, indie) I am happy to be member of this new community of artists. I would love to discover and collaborate with creative and different artists. Feel free to hit me for more information, I am currently recording my EP* in Los Angeles (actual location),London and Paris. It is a mix of different music culture, from pop music, rock, urban, electro and hip-hop with a French voice singing in French but English as well, for the international market. I discovered this website by searching a songwriter while google. Please contact me if you have writing skills - thank you! Best wishes, Enezia * If you are interested to collaborate with me please check out a Sneak Peek and some sample from my work at: www.DaughterOfSunshine.com- 2 replies

I have been writing my own lyrics for a while, and I find myself listening to the lyrics from professional bands and admiring how creative their lyrics are. They take an emotion and don't just tell you things, they SHOW you the emotion. The lyrics are always just so unexpected and beautiful and creative. They always talk about things that I would never think about, or compare two unexpected things that are just so good at showing the emotion. How to I achieve originality and creativity in my lyrics? I want to be unexpected and stay away from cliches. I want to SHOW the emotion!! How do I learn to do this?
