Good argument Tom. The music landscape has changed. It's a dog eat dog world. Ain't no one gonna be paying out for things they can access within their fingertips at a click of a button. 

 

Making a living doing music has become harder than ever. I think the best way to pursue a meaningful career in music is to have a stable source of income on the side.

I would think that everyone on this site should be interested in this topic and should see this Video.

 

I know there is a bill in front of Congress right now to change the compensation for Songwrighters

but personally I don't think that is going to be enough.
