Thanks! And I don't have money for anything quality though. I'm saving up all my money for a trip to Europe next summer, and I'd like to get a nice guitar, or a couple nice guitars before I ever think of getting a mic. Guitars are more important to me...

The microphone can wait.    When you get an opportunity to travel, take it.

 

You play well and sing well, and a good microphone and a little time spent working on the raw tracks with a DAW ... or, engaging some friend 'round these parts to help you ... will turn this into a truly terrific cover.

Thank you! That was actually my second day on the mandolin, I played guitar and ukulele before mandolin and strumming has always come easily to me. Not solos though, I'm working on playing some guitar solos now, Green Day's Holiday and Black Sabbath's Iron Man currently.
