I Love You, But I Don't Know What To Say (Ryan Adams Cover)

Recommended Posts

Thank you both! I realized I have a wrong chord on the descending progression after the chorus. Figured out later it should be a G. Also, I kind of made up the lead, since it's normally done on piano.

Anyway, I love the song, so I was eager to try it out.

I appreciate the positive feedback.

Don't be sorry. It's always good to make the song your own. Change the arrangement and melodies around to make it fit your interpretation of the song how you connect to the song.

Really enjoyed the vocals here. I'm not one to talk about mixes- But the guitar is just a tiny bit soft on this to my ear? But boosting it too much might over-ride how awesome the singing is so I understand keeping it so low in the mix. I really felt this one though. You have soul in your voice man. Very cool.

Thank you! I recorded the guitar live through the same mic as the vocals, so I couldn't punch it up in the mix. I tried to compensate by laying down another guitar track, but with so-so results. Anyway, I appreciate the feedback. Hoping to get more stuff recorded soon.
