Introducing Jim Barzee

Hello Everyone on Songstuff!

 

I'm new to this forum.  I am 55 years old.  I have been married 35 years.  I have 2 children and 3 grandchildren.  I have been singing and writing since I was a teenager.  I sing and write mostly Cristian and Country style songs.  I love Classic Rock (I am a product of the 70's), Jazz and the Blues also.  I had a couple songs I wrote a few years back produced in Nashville.  They were titled "Somewhere Along The Line" and "Did I Ever Tell You That I Love You".  "Somewhere Along The Line" was included on a compilation CD.  Ray Barnette in Nashville sang the vocals on the demo.  I enjoy writing and am interested in what people who have much more knowledge and experience than I do have to say.  I have written some songs I think are pretty good, and more that I am sure aren't that good.  The way I see it though, the better you get, the more enjoyable it is.  A dream of mine is to someday have a song I write be recorded by a recording artist.
