Throw It All Away

'Please let it go, leave it be, do not dwell on the past'

I hear the reasoning so loud - but it never seems to last.

When feeling good - it comes with a guilt - i cannot seem to shake.

And a consiquence i see from this is the illusion of 'being fake'

 

The feeling of resentment - but not for you - for me.

These are the truths inside the mind that not anyone can see.

The justified opinions - the way i cleanse my sole.

The moral obligation - Im scared of being whole.

 

So here in definition - it's complicated at best.

Can i put my heart on sleeve and pass this very test.

I hope i can - i'l try my all - to re-make myself - renew.

Because for once in this life - i know - i feel - it's true.

 

I know i deserve to be happy - to look at you and feel.

Everything but sadness - even when you seem unreal.

So please - forgive me and i'l forgive myself - and make the most of today.

I make this promise - No more guilt - i throw it all away'
