Who Are Your Favorite Electric Guitarists?

Every time I come back to this thread with more names...Some one else has beat me to it. And then I look at the other listing and say to myself.... Me too.

It's funny as much as I love jazz guitar. When ever I think of jazz greats I jump to contemporaries rather then luminaries from the past.

Seriously the greatest jazz solo guitarist of our times.  He studied under Ted Greene and can play "In the style of" Legend after legend after legend and often times much better then they did.
