I don't personally think it's worth it, but it is very cool!
Along the same lines Sonar Platinum has touch screen tech. All you need is a touch screen monitor. Second to follow was Studio One Professional. Both offer touch screen capability. This work either with a touch screen laptop or the larger touch computer monitors. A less expensive alternative to get a very similar result.

Cool but unnecessary. I guess it is worth it if you've got the cash and enjoy working like that. I'd be interested to see a comparison of two people. One with a mouse, one using the touchscreen go through the same routine to see which one was faster and why. Good for the arm muscles though.
Good for arm muscles, maybe bad for carpal tunnels.
If it just had a treadmill attached to it. Then it would really be the ultimate DAWW … Digital Audio Workstation Workout. With the never ending advancements in tech, I now judge it all in one of two ways. Cool versus Necessary.
I'm waiting for the brain implant and heads-up display so I just have to think what I want done, then I can get drunk and experiment.
