Africa - Toto

I have always thought this was a superior piece of music. The best songs create a mood, or a feeling, or transport you some other place.

This song does all of these things.

I always loved the Toto song too, Rob.  Such great rhythms and harmonies.

 Lessee....

That's three points for the triple word, plus the double meaning, so that's six, plus one point for each letter, so that's a total of 18 no-points for Scotsman!

Rob I am insulted it is a dress not a skirt  LOL

It may also be worn when 'national dress' is stipulated. – The kilt, fairly long, fastened with a pin, with a dress sporran. – A plain white shirt, with either a black bow tie or a lace jabot. – A Highland jacket (also called a doublet) with ornamental silver buttons.

In England, we dont like skirting the issue, preferring instead to a-dress it directly. Now...

If we want to see a man in a frock, we visit a church. But in Scotland they're all over the place + you get to see

Worry not, Mr. Scot. Changes in direction should probably occur more often than they sometimes actually do. Most are welcomed.

Rudi, I think your last two posts are intentionally wonky, posted to see if anyone is actually paying attention.

Right? (I hope)....

No, but looking back I think I probably went a bit OTT.

My connections are a bit tenuous. I'll try to remedy that.

Alive - Pearl Jam  :  Stick Out Your Tongue - Elvis Costello & The Roots : as in getting stuck or jammed

Lick It Up – KISS  : the Pound is Sinking - Paul McCartney. : as in violence. Giving someone a licking or pounding
