  1. Are 'Qui' mentioned, both important depending on what type of music you're making. Personally, i'm not much of a singer, so I tend to give or at least Try to give - my melodies some sort of... 'twist' in the melody. And as Kel mentioned "There is an old expression, that nobody whistles a lyric as they walk down the street." I think lyrics speak more to the person, it becomes something more of a personal thing. Let's say.. Me, as a depressed guy, I easily get drawn into the more 'morbid' & 'depressed' parts in the lyrics out there. Because I have sort of been in the same situation as expressed in the 'lyrics' and therefore I can relate too it. This is something Melody can't do. However, something that Melody can do and sometimes is extra strong at... Is the fact that it speaks with just tunes and melodies. Sometimes it awakens and releases my inner repressed thoughts and sorrow. In which lyrics never managed to do. That's something that just intrigues me a lot~ Gotta love music maan!
  2. Welcome Tal, hope you enjoy your stay (:
  3. Haha thanks! I used to write lyrics a lot back in the days, although i'm not very good at it, it was still so much fun. And after all, with practice, we can all become better. I tend to let my emotions decide what type of song I make. I just got into the 'DnB' Genre and started making some Video game based songs as well as just, relaxing tracks I suppose. To put things simple, I compose via Virtual Instruments. So i'm currently testing new grounds. (Since I don't have any good recording mic's) Otherwise, I would dedicate most of my time - Singing, playing guitar, drums, ocarina and just record it and put it all together into one song. But for now, digitized music is what I currently make. (And love making <3) I hope that was a good enough answer haha~
  4. Hello & Greetings everyone! I am a guy who lives in Sweden and I am 19 years old, and if I have to say- I love composing music, as well as listening too it! (I mean who doesn't like music!) It has always been a huge part in my life. And to be honest. I've dedicated most of my life to fighting depression. And while that is/has been a tough stage in my life, music has always been a part of something that has supported me emotionally, in a way. It has always been there. It helped me, even if just by little. After all, music is partially about expressing oneself. I hope to meet some new faces around here as well. And well, if you have any questions or something about me, i'd gladly answer them. But for now, i would only like to say... Hello, i'm new around here~
