  1. Another phenomenon, or maybe its obvious, is that when I listened to my own stuff from years ago, I do hear how "bad" I really was.. and I squirm again when I hear it now. These were the tracks that I've listened to over and over again and my ears were desensitized at the time. lol! Just the lighter side of things. Cheers, -Peter
  2. Ah, got it Justin. Thanks for the information. -Peter
  3. This happens with me as well. Often times, I find it difficult to listen to myself (especially at first when recording a new song). Over time, I get used to it. And only when I hear the song in the background and not fully conscience that it was me singing, that I realize that hey, maybe it wasn't all that bad. lol! I thought this was just me - but I'm glad to hear this is common. -Peter
  4. SpaceWizard, I was going to have a listen, but not sure what happened to your soundcloud posts? It says, "This track is currently not available.". Let me know when you get it back up. Thanks, Peter
  5. Myself, I'm a Mac convert as I was a PC user for years. I would have to say that I'm happier overall (and poorer as well. lol!) I used to debate whether I should stay on PC or move over to a Mac - for it seemed that a Mac was much more stable for audio and video production. And at the time, maybe 2 years ago, this was the case. But these days, I think that both platforms are fairly stable for the most part. In regards to DAWs, I've stuck around w/ Cubase over the years, both on PC and now on a Mac - I've been tempted to switch over to ProTools, for no other reason that its seems to be "the standard DAW", but all in all, most of the DAWs these days have the same functions and its about how we use the DAWs which is fully transferrable from platform to platform and software to software. In other words - its all good! -Peter
