    Independent writers and artists face several large disadvantages when they are compared to signed, mainstream writers and artists.  Disadvantages that add up to making it a competition that indies can’t win. Hell they can’t even compete.   Lack of budget and poor contacts are fairly obvious disadvantages. Lack of experience and a lack of knowledge restricts songwriters and artists alike. Keeping on, keeping on.

There has been progress.   I hate the phrase "LIfe getting in the way". Radiohead Beats Hacker And Donates Money to Extinction Rebellion

Radiohead have released hours of recordings instead of paying ransom money to a hacker who stole them.     Just last week, an unknown hacker stole unreleased recordings of Radiohead. This is a call for submissions for the inclusion of tracks in a compilation album. The compilation is as a fundraiser for Songstuff.   The idea is simple. If your track is selected to be included, any funds made directly from compilation sales will go towards funding our community. Submission of your tracks is on that understanding. Sliver of A Moon

I met my co-writer on Facebook. We've done two songs via the internet as I live in the States and he lives in Wales. I didn't have a good melody for my lyrics and he created this awesome guitar lick and sang it. Funny thing to note is that he sang the word silver instead of SLiver but you'll get the gist of the song. Her is SLiver of a moon hope you like it:
