Were you close?

 

I was devastated when my Dad passed. (over 20 years now) I went to work with him when I left school and we became very good mates.  We worked together on and off right up until he retired! To the consternation of my siblings,  (and for some strange reason, my next door neighbour,) I called him by his name, Tony. (Tone)  Still think about him most days, and curiously, he is often in my dreams! We are always driving somewhere.  Not sure what that means?

Yeah, we were close. We used to play snooker together for many years. It still feels pretty surreal. His funeral was pretty surreal with so few people allowed to go and no gathering afterwards etc, plus the whole Covid issue causing havoc about availability of documents etc. It adds to the less-than-real feeling

That is an outstanding drawing.  There's so much humanity and personality to it.

Many thanks! it’s nice getting compliments.  I enjoy drawing and painting, but I so rarely seem to have the time.
