1. myself i start with a guitar riff and develop from there ususaly singing some lyrics along most time s the lyrics change as the riff progresses i only picked up a guitar a few months ago as all i ever did in the past was sing but i had a few idas running around my head 2. again i start to develop the idea by changing things adding small chord changes looking to better the melody sometimes it works other times it don't 3. and when i think i can do no more of the basics (and or the first time next tue i go to a studio ) and work on the production and i really cant say much more as its not been worked on

brilliant feedback lots to think about as i said the origenal was just a test and wont go with the song i will have to sit down and think on it a little more cheers guys

just as a matter of interest what is your take on this is it ok to do your own or should we leave it up to the pro i tend to think it adds a personal touch when the artist makes an effort but as i said whats your opinion on this This is my effort on what i will be recording next week but it may change

well that was my thoughts get it down to the wood give it a good design in paint and a finish then work on pick ups and so on
