Hi there,
I am a recent college grad (major: physics) from AZ and spend most of my days researching bacterial motility. In my free time I have received much joy from songwriting and have been doing so for 5 or 6 years. My relationship with music began, like many, with a Squire strat and the desire to become a guitar legend with an army of groupies. I realized I was never going to play like Hendrix, so I started writing songs. I eventually taught myself how to play bass guitar and drums as well as basic DAW functions. Currently I am obsessed with bedroom songwriter/producers like James Mercer (The Shins) and Kevin Barnes (of Montreal). I am looking forward to learning from this community and bettering myself as a songwriter.
