I finally feel like I've gotten some of my courage back and I'm being productive again. In the last 16 hours I've finished writing 3 songs, and made decent headway on 2, and made a demo. Now that I've gotten myself to finish writing again, I feel like ought to finish drafting some music too. I've got plenty of half produced songs to pick from, but maybe I should focus on getting my lyrics checked out first? I think it would be fitting to start things off with a song about inspiration. I originally started it a year ago as some ending music for a project. This is the semi finished instrumental. I finished writing the lyrics today and I wanted to post them for critiques, but I felt like people wouldn't get a good sense of the song from just the words so I made a demo. I'm not a vocalist so my audio quality leaves a lot to be desired, but it's just a one take demo. lyrics: demo: I hope to post more lyrics and progress this week.

I've done choir for a long time, but I never had formal vocal training and don't have the resources to do it now. I was always told I was too quiet and tried to sing louder (in a way that probably amounted to shouting). Now, I still don't really know how to project properly and probably have damage from years of doing it wrong, so I'm scared to try and correct it on my own.

hey hey hey... I'm a hobbyist musician. I play bass, dabble in producing, and while I would like to improve my producing skills, I'm mostly interested in doing casual collabs and finding someone to bounce ideas off of. That, and I also just really enjoy checking out other people's work, though I have yet to post my music anywhere since most of it is unfinished or too unpolished. I hope working with someone will help me get more motivated so if you're interested in jamming, hearing my stuff, or just want me to listen to something hmu.
