I just meant for me and beat creation. It is probably because I'm learning still.

I mostly write lyrics and melodies (they come at the same time), but when I sit behind the monitor with nothing but me and my studio, software and hardware, things come to me. I may start with just a couple notes, add a horn or strings,... It has to be mood and time because things created are never planned. This is just me. No overall generalization. But for me my rhythm tracks are moment inspired. Funny I can't put lyrics to my rhythm tracks. Who would have thought? Tory

Hey Sean nice to meet you! I write across genre, sometimes not even sure which one my lyric or song fits into. Lots of rock influence though. It does look like a good place around here, so much to check out still Tory

Hi, Excited to be here with all you music heads... I wanted to find a place to share and talk about my music, your music, any music. Learn new things, get new insights, keep my ideas and songwriting fresh and maybe I can help do the same for someone else. I write lyrics and songs, so the critique areas looked cool... have a "home studio" band with some close friends and musicians. I have fun with my music but I am serious too, and I like notching it up. I have been working on a single release and focusing on all the things I want it to be.
