The many stars in the sky, all vanish one by one Lying down, head on the ground, eyes in the sky Staring at the clouds as they go by… Have you ever wished You could get really high Imagining the clouds and a magic world nearby. Closing your eyes Breathing in the scent Remembering the time when you said goodbye The last moments, and the words you meant The permanent hope which still lies. Shaping the clouds, Making them seem like other things, I did this long ago, Making my eyes exaggerate. Eyes open at the crack of dawn I lie there, waiting to reform. Unable to walk in a straight line My heads elsewhere As I’m heading towards the sunshine My eyes can’t cope with the glare.. feedback appreciated for improvement.
