Lyrics
Verse 1
Looking back on our time
Lifes filled with endless possibility
You were taken too soon
Never got to see the way you molded me
Dreams and desires
We shared so much but now we’re torn apart
Pre-Chorus
Laughing, living, you taught me
Crying, shaking, you left me
Chorus
Find a way to carry on, without you by my side
Taken was my best friend we must learn to cherish life
Delicate creatures we tread on this fragile ice
Cycle continues ashes in the end
Verse 2
See you in my dreams I know your looking down from high above
All that we’ve been
Never dies, it’s carried on in the ones we love
Things that you showed me
Lessons passed on to the young
Pre-Chorus
Laughing, living, you taught me
Crying, shaking, you left me
Chorus
Find a way to carry on, without you by my side
Taken was my best friend we must learn to cherish life
Delicate creatures living on borrowed time
Cycle continues ashes in the end
Spoken
Until we meet again, rest my friend
