My friend Hannah wrote this piece and I was really impressed so I asked her permission to post it here to see what you all think

Plastic Hearts, Paper Hats

Honey steals the show lights and bright star gazing sun

The whole thing we blasted with, with our shot gun

Dead along the grass of poppies and hearts

Honey steals the spotlight again tonight

Plastic hearts and paper hats

Will fall on our bedroom floor

In our down-and-out flat

Where everything seemed so dim

And understanding the long road

A past was so unintent

so unintentional

I didn't want to mention it again

But Honey stole the spotlight

And ran it down the street

Hid it in her pocket

For no one else to see

Honey stole my spotlight

And she tore my world apart

Honey stole my whole world

And stole my plastic heart
