I don't quite know where to begin, but here goes anyways...

 

My name is Ron.  I'm from Reno, NV but originally from a town not too far from Los Angeles, CA.  I really don't have much musical work to show lately; writer's block has been a cruel thing to me and I've made a lot of starts but never gotten too far.  But, I'm hoping that being part of this community and being able to have a network of musicians around me will kind of help to melt the ice and help me to kind of get my groove back.

 

As for sound, I guess right now it falls into a sort of folk sound, not all too far off from Bright Eyes or Elliott Smith.  I guess my main goal in writing is to write music that speaks some sort of truth; I simply don't really have much drive to take over the world or to make billions.

 

Anyhow, I know that is kind of a short introduction, but I don't always quite know how to introduce myself without going into a novel.  Hope to make some good songwriting friends on here!
