Free Song Mixing

 Hey all. I've decided to get more serious about mixing, and am working on a portfolio right now. I'd like to mix some songs for other people, and I'm willing to do this at no cost, to gain experience and add some portfolio items.

 

What I'm looking for are songs with tracks that have been recorded with decent equipment... condenser mics for the vocals, sm57 or equivalent for guitars, etc. Obviously I'm not expecting your tracks to sound like they came out of a professional studio, but I'm hoping they don't sound like they came out of your bathroom, either.

 

As far as genres go I'm open to anything that doesn't require serious electronic effects, like hip-hop.

 

If you have a song you'd like to have me mix please PM me. To reiterate, it won't cost you anything. I do reserve the right to decline a mixing job if I feel it's not the right fit, or what I'm looking for.
