IC Musicmedia, a large German music hosting website containing portals such as Soundlift, has announced it is closing from 12 November.

 

So I for one have moved all my tracks over to Soundcloud. It's not made clear why the portal is closing but I suspect it just became too big and the functionality of sites like Soundcloud is far superior.

 

It's a bit of a pain having to move over but hey, time to join the mainstream
