My musical influences are based in folk and country. Influenced by the country artists of the 60s & 70s I was shaped as a song writer by John Denver, Neil Diamond, Cat Stevens, it was bands like the Seekers, Peter, Paul and Mary and folkies like Joan Baez, Woody Guthrie and the great Bob Dylan that awakened the story teller in me. I have lived and loved life through many decades and so I am filled with life experiences. It is through these that I hope my songs will touch those that can relate to the lyrics and find a piece of me somewhere in them and some of themselves also. Faith, Hope & Love.... Lloyd Clarke
