Danidog Finally Says Hi!

As per my usual ADHD self, I put the cart before the horse and started posting lyrics and critiques before introducing myself. So, HI, I'm Dan and I love to write. I wish I could say I can play guitar well and sing like an angel, but that would be a lie, and I won't lie 'cause I know karma will bite me in the ass if I do.

I usually have a dozen projects going at a time in a dozen different interests and my daughter says I have the attention span of a gerbil. Still, I do love to write in a lot of genres, but long for the days of real country music, hippies, Timothy Leary, Woodstock and everything else that dates me as, um, mature.

I've already learned a lot from you all and hope to be able to contribute in some small kind of a positive way in the future.

I too recall Woodstock, and what I call "real music for real people."  :-)  I love the music, from that era.  (While not a country music fan, oddly, I find that much of what I write veers toward the sense of whimsy heard in that music.  Also, one must give those writers credit for clever wordplay and catchy hooks).
