Risen From The Dead

Walk in my wake as in your dreams
We both know that we're on opposing sides
And life is no better as the cold night burns away
But the ghost of an old love goes away ....
I seem to be stalking some shadows from my past
With a light to drive them from my memory
Because , now they enrage me and there's nowhere to escape
As the past steals my last cold breath away ..... 
   I'm haunted by the phantoms as they invade my dreams 
   And they seem to be relentless anymore 
   Now dreams just possess me till they're all I can take 
   And the stale winds of the dead come close the door ....
  

    Now as I waken , my life fades like the dream 
   As I find the strength to pull myself from bed
   And I laugh for a moment as the tears leave my eyes 
   As I realize , I have risen from the dead ....

 

 

 

 

 

OK I am new here and need to explain that my lyrics may seem too complicated (at times) to be a hit. The truth is that I do not care if I ever write a hit, I want to write songs that are actually good. Hope you all enjoy and I look forward to hearing what everyone thinks of my stuff.
