Saying hello

Not, strictly speaking, my first post ... I was active for a short time on this site back around 2007 but for reasons too many to list, I drifted away. Around a year ago I contacted the site again and although I'd completely forgotten my log-in details and was by now using a different email address, John kindly located my old account and reactivated it for me with my updated details. Never let it be said that I hurry things.    But hey ... finally .. here I am.

I have a lot of material, much of it incomplete and very little of it recorded .. although I do have a few songs on youtube and also on soundclick that were posted there many years ago. Pretty rough recordings it must be said .. a combination of poor, equipment, lack of experience, impatience and my own musical and vocal limitations.

So I'm here to talk to and maybe be inspired and motivated by other songwriters .. I don't currently have anyone nearby who I collaborate with and that's part of my problem .. No one to motivate me, and I guess my natural indolence is my great enemy.

Anyway, happy to be back.
