Hey John, the tone of your voice is really pleasant to listen to. You are not hitting the notes quite well but I think with more time spent practicing and writing more and more songs, you'll become a great singer-songwriter.

You're 14!!!  You have a bright future ahead, young man.  I think you've found your niche.  Some good advice given by Rob.  I hope you follow through with it. I know there are some blogs or posts or something here that give some vocal help.  I'm not sure if it covers pitch or not.  Perhaps I can find the link and link it here (or maybe someone can).  I'll try.  I hope you have a support system to help you on your way being the age that you are or that you can connect with a mentor.  I hope you pursue it!
