Been a while...8 songs worth.

Hello. I just received a bunch of "we miss you" emails from this forum, and it certainly has been a while. So I thought I'd post some of my recent work. 

 

I wrote all the music and most of the lyrics on our latest EP. We've gotten a pretty decent response where we've posted and I'm certainly proud of the work. I paid much more attention to detail. From arrangements to drum sounds to guitar melodies, I carefully debated all the way through the final mix and master. More so than our 1st EP--although I am proud of that one as well.

 

The EP's lyrics range from politics to emotional issues. My only knock on this EP are the lyrics for I Stole the Sun which should have been less cryptic and more accessible for the listener.

 

With the videos we tried to at least visually capture the song's theme—or at least give the song a boost with an artsy idea or two . With the exception of actual band footage, all videos utilized creative commons (royalty-free) footage. That sounds like it would make the process easier, but in reality the opposite is true.
