Money (Pink Floyd) - alternative version

Hi everyone. 3 or 4 years ago I decided I wanted to write a rock/metal arrangement for Money by Pink Floyd. Dark Side of the Moon has always been one of my favourite albums. But I've never loved "Money" that much. I remember I used to skip that track when I was playing that record.

 

I was sure it would have been easy to write something nice. It was not. I can't even remember how many versions I threw away because they were horrible.

 

After one year I decided that if I was not good enough to write a good version to listen maybe I could write a nice version to play with my drums (I'm also an amateur drummer). Nothing too difficult of course.

 

This arrangement sounds like a "progressive metal" song for that reason. It's different from any other cover songs we are producing (and I'm afraid that all Pink Floyd fans are going to kill me ).

 

I'd like to hear your thoughts about it

Thanks a lot Rob. I think this is the best comment we've ever received. We all broke out laughing reading it. Now we almost feel like real rockers (without hair though). 

 

In our "parties" lot of italian wine!
