Music Streaming services - dissertation help

Done. An old person's perspective. I only stream from Youtube and prefer to download MP3s, so I don't have to be connected to listen.

 

I think MP3s have exposed how much filler people got away with by bundling it into an album of songs and how much the marketing affected how sentimental we were and still are about the music. People mention old vinyl album covers, which really had nothing to do with the music. It was presenting an airbrushed image of the band. It was like the box perfume comes in. As XTC once sang, "There's no youth culture, only masks they let you rent." But that's a whole other dissertation. 😊
