I started to create music when our grandchild died during birth.

I'm sorry for your loss.

 

I've checked both songs. I like the instrumental tracks quite a lot, (specially the super-rock one of the first video) and the melodies are also OK! I think the only part that doesn't sound tight enough are the vocals, and maybe more because of the accent than other thing! But nothing you can't improve with practice! It sounds quite good to me for having nor much experience, neither good equipment!!

Very tough on a family.  I'm hoping that creating your music has brought some comfort. Music is a powerful outlet.

 

Listened to Alone. Michan touched on the vocals.  They could use abit of focus and practice but good starts on both pieces.
