Very nice @moptop and @Patty Lakamp

 

 Congrats for a cool collaboration! I like the vibe of the track and the singing is really nice! Nice lyrics as well! I guess a lot of people can relate to them!

"M",  thanks for the kind comments!  Especially about the singing.! :001_rolleyes: Patty and I have been collabing for several years. She is very easy to work with.  Patty was hoping that the lyrics would relate to people of all ages that are just starting out in a relationship.

Not sure why but I got a Grateful Dead vibe with this one. Lyrics and music. Nicely done and it's great that the relaxing you're singing about really comes across with the music to create a nice, relaxing tune. Great job to both of you!

Thanks very much. That's quite a complement. Curious though, which era would you have placed it in?  I was thinking mid to late 70's maybe! Eagles-ish or America-ish?

The Dead! Wow, I never thought of that but yes, I can see the connection now!

How sweet, guys!

 

Your music is always the type that has an upbeat touch.. there's a glimmer of hope even in those songs that have heavier lyrics.

 

This one's of course is something to feel very happy about. Great harmonies as usual, Dominick... And such easy-breezy singing!

 

Patty, those words sound like a sketch on a canvas.. a journey that is still going on.. :)

I was thinking late 60's early 70's country pop.  Like Glen Campbell type stuff. Maybe Gentle on My Mind.

@Just1L, Thanks for your comment!  "Relaxing" is a compliment!  We wanted something easy-going like this, and Dominick was able to pull it off. I just write the words; he does everything else!

Wow! there's another comparison that I never would have thought of, thanks very much.  GC was a very talented and outstanding musician.
