Hello everybody,

 

I would like to introdue myself as Joa. I'm a Belgian musician with an interest in experimental tough still melodic music. I play the guitar and the synth and recently I dived into producing with the goal of recording my own songs, just for fun  I would like to know more about you guys. My primary goal of joining this forum is to receive (honest) feedback on my work.

I started with a more classic education before switching to tabs. Its actually quite helpfull for the theoretical stuff like scales and such... What music do you make?

Working on orchestral music, I can't read a fretboard from the letters, but I learned how to read piano sheet music. I'm definitely in the learning process, but if the learning never ends we can only get better and better.

It's great to have you around! In this forum there's people with very different skills and levels of experience, it's a great place to interact with other artists and grow!

 

You said you'd like to know more about us... well then. I'm Michan, and I'm a Spanish girl living in Japan. I started with the music-making thing not long time ago (december 2018!!). I used to be a drummer, but now I focus mainly in writing lyrics and singing, but I don't compose. In this forum I had the chance to work with different people in different styles, and, actually, my first project here was related to experimental music / trip-hop! It was fun to work on it, even though I drifted away a bit in the last months. 

 

You can check the trip-hop/dark project and other stuff I've been working on here in my Soundcloud. The trip-hop songs are a tracklist I've shared from the account of the band "Dark Noise Club".
