Hello, my nickname is Livy. I had already introduced myself, but for some reason I can't post on the other forums except for this one. It's strange because I have 0 warning points.

 

I like progressive rock, a teeny bit of heavy metal, and I'm getting into punk rock. 5 bands I like are D.O.A., Rush, Cock Sparrer, Rainbow and Van Der Graaf Generator. I write lyrics for fun, I'm also thinking about getting singing lessons. My dream is to start my own band, I would also like to get into a nice art school, so I can make the album covers.

Hey @Progerific!

I was not in the forum when you first joined in 2017 so, nice to meet you! I like the style you are mentioning!
I am lyricist and singer, and I work making songs by collab with people from different backgrounds, but I am currently working in a project with a person that makes Nu-Prog, and another person with a project in Post-Rock (in between other cool stuff!). The idea of making your own artwork and having a band sounds really dreamy! I hope you find here a bit extra of motivation and help to progress in your aims!

 

About your problem posting in other boards, I think some other staff member already contacted you, so I hope it gets solved as soon as possible! In the meantime, if you have any other question don't hesitate to tell us!
