What Stopped Your Last Release From Being More Successful?

Hey gang

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

When it comes to releasing our music, understanding what we do that works and what doesn't work is the key to getting better results. That means critically looking at what we do and how we do it.

We've been helping songwriters and artists at Songstuff for 20 years, so we've petty well heard it all. It probably comes as no real surprise but artists make common mistakes.

Analysis is vital. It's the first step to awareness.

So what did you do in preparation for your last release? Did you build to the relase? What about the release itself? After the release?

Taken together, did your approach work?

If not, are you using the same approach with the next release? If so, why? Are you content to leave it to chance? Are you happy for your next song to reach the same level of success? How about the next? How about all your music?

C'mon guys, let's get serious about this. Taking part is a good start.

Cheers

John
