Tu No Vas a Ninguna Parte

I've been getting back into Dylan lately, particularly the Basement Tapes era with The Band. I also have always wanted to try doing a song in another language. So I picked "You Ain't Going Nowhere". Yeah the Spanish is probably wrong. I used Google Translate and did my best...

 

I have also been having fun learning a bit of animation the last couple of months. So I built a silly little story around the song. It's funny, the animation actually took longer to do than recording the song itself did.

 

Basically, a shrimp travels to Mexico to steal one of Dylan's songs but instead runs into Robot Bob Dylan. They battle in a song contest and this song is the result of that contest.

I think I might of actually snorted a bit when showdown started with the spagetti western wah wah wahs started up. 

 

Pronunciation may be off here or there?, but its understandable, but I only speak Mexicaneese, and a pretty poor and filthy slang version of that,  it's basically the difference between hillbilly jargon and the queens English, close enough to sometimes get a point across hahaha.
