Actually just installed that a few days ago.  Since they dropped their Artist price and now allow 3rd party VST's(which I really don't use much of, but nice to have the option)  it was actually worth it for me to upgrade from the freebie version.

They’ve had 3rd party VST since at least version 3, you just had to add all VST folders to the path. Otherwise the only issue was 32 bit or 64.
