wow, the song got me from the first few seconds, very powerful and dance vibey! I like this style, it sounds as if you've combined a few genres together and made something of your own that sounds excellent. It would have been nice to know a bit more about the song or about the production of it in the description.

I like the bass, it sounds dreamy. And the vocals are fantastic. I enjoyed listening.

Hello, thanks a lot for your comments, it's helping me. :)

I know the cost of listening for 3 minutes to a tune that comes from nowhere (well actually, i'm French :-D) nowadays.

The "retro" part refers to the deep nostalgia I'm swimming in.

It's produced with Logic Pro X only, layered with a lot of native synths, real instruments running through a lot of plugins to look like synths, vocals recorded in different ways.

It's a combination of many little things to give the song a "one of a kind" feel (well I'm trying to), although this was made with the help of a computer.

Nono.

Here's my only suggestion ... "the mix."

There are lots of sounds going on here – and one or more square-wave-ish "buzzing" sounds really stand out to my ears – all of which seem to be competing directly with the singer and in many cases overpowering him.

I'd suggest that you use the classic mixing technique called "ducking," where the accompaniment tracks are made to "duck under" the vocal tracks whenever the singer sings.  Whenever the singer is silent, the other tracks take front-and-center, but when the singer sings he always comes out just a little bit on top.  (And you don't have to "ride the faders" to achieve that. So-called "side-chain inputs" are used to do it.)

Listening again after some time. I love the message you wrote on the post about the mirror.

The song is very fun to listen to. Here it's noon time and It's a good song to keep me motivated for the rest of the day.

I like the tropical vibe of it along with the electric stuff that's happening. All seems to fit at the right place. enjoyed listening.

This is very funky, could imagine a snippet of this being used on a feel good television advert. Agree with an earlier comment on ducking some of the sounds at times as there is a lot going on but it is also what makes the song so unique.
