Hello again everyone! Do you like donuts? 😃

 

I've been living in Taiwan for quite some time now, and I've recently found some of the best donuts I've ever eaten in my life -- Xiao Mi donuts!! 

 

Literally, after eating them for the first time, I fell in love and then decided to make a new original song WITH a new music video (a 24 hour total project)....talk about inspiration, huh? Hahaha! In any case, here it is:

The music is very nice and appropriate, and I'm really not sure how you managed to move your hands that fluidly while keeping the donut in exactly the same position.

Hi Mora, I'm really glad that you enjoyed the song!  This is actually my first song ever made about food, lol!  As for those churros that you mentioned, I have actually eaten those before...sweet cinnamon goodness, but I'm sure they weren't authentic, as I bought 'em back when I was in the States, haha. 😅

Hey Clay, I'm so glad that you found the video quite entertaining! 

I actually had no idea that there was a K-Pop song about donuts, so I did some research and found the song "Doughnut" by the group Twice, lol!  Their song is using a donut as a way to describe the one they love...and my song is describing the donut that I love, pretty ironic and sweet (get it?). 😆

Hi MikeRobinson, thanks so much for watching my video, and I'm really glad that you liked it!  Your comment also made me laugh of out loud, lol.  Xiao Mi donuts is a relatively small chain store here in Taiwan which are outclassed by competitors like Krispy Kreme and Mister Donut, BUT one thing Xiao Mi has over the others--- FRESHNESS!  Believe you me, I've tried to get ahold of hot fresh donuts here, but to no avail, I always had to buy them cold, that is, until I found Xiao Mi donuts~.  As for the balancing act with the donut on the red ceremonial plate (didn't know it was ceremonial until after my friends told me outright; I bought it because I thought it was pretty, lol), luckily, I had spent around a week practicing all my moves in my room beforehand. 😅
